Premium Efficiency Cooling & Motors Program (San Diego Gas & Electric)
| Led by Conservation Services Group, this program increased the supply of premium efficiency air conditioning equipment and premium efficiency motors to maximize energy efficiency in commercial and residential HVAC systems throughout San Diego Gas & Electric’s service territory. RSG supported the program by working with manufacturers and distributors to influence supply practices; developing tools and resources to enhance benefits to industry participants; serving as marketing coordinator; and developing strategies and content for program materials and website. |

 Results:
- Developed and implemented a direct mail campaign to promote distributor incentives to premium efficiency motors upstream contacts
- Conducted upstream outreach to HVAC distributors and manufacturers to inform them of program offerings and promote the program to their networks
- Developed marketing materials for specific customer segments (hotel/lodging industry, industrial/commercial, food service, etc.)
- Developed strategy and implementation to reach contractors through monthly newsletters, case studies, and marketing of bonus incentive promotions
