Lennox Industries “Future of Energy in California” Summit
| In an attempt to connect a leading high efficiency air conditioning manufacturer (Lennox Industries) to the policy arena in California, Resource Solutions Group designed and implemented the Future of Energy in California Summit in October of 2008, with program support from the A/C Quality Program (sponsored by Southern California Edison and implemented by Conservation Services Group). Over the course of two days of discussion, RSG gathered key energy leaders, including senior utility managers for energy efficiency, renewables and emerging technologies program areas, as well as policy makers, to discuss long term utility and statewide efficiency planning goals and product needs. Discussions centered on the future of energy efficiency related to advanced HVAC technologies, California’s Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan, and how the HVAC industry can support California’s energy goals through long-term research and development and technology deployment plans. |
