Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program
 The first gas efficiency rebate program in the Chicagoland area, the Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program provides rebates to encourage customers of Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas to install high efficiency, gas-saving products. As the program implementer, RSG was charged with a challenging task – design and launch a large scale, cost-effective, inaugural gas efficiency program in an extremely compressed timeframe. Working with local strategic partners, RSG identified the regional context from other Midwest gas efficiency programs and successfully developed a robust program model that exceeded typical program incentive levels in other regional jurisdictions – which was anticipated to be helpful for customers in the midst of difficult economic times. |

As of December 31, 2009:
- 7,325 total applications received
- 920,513 annual therm savings from applications received
- 913 heating, insulation, and plumbing contractor companies reached
- 96 heating contractor companies participated in program sales and technical trainings
- 50 insulation contractor companies participated in program sales and technical trainings
- 100 retailer and plumbing supply locations participating
